  • Abstract The development of N-heterocyclic carbine-pyridine-based ruthenium dye structure in our laboratory, the successful use in dye-sensitized solar cells was published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.in 2010, showing high efficiency (η = 9.69%) beyond the recognized of N719 dye (η = 8.98%) in the past.
    Therefore, the main structure in this thesis is synthesized for the fluorine-containing derivative, which will expect to be good in the efficient performance.
