  • Abstract With the sample of employees in Taiwan’s local banks merged by the international banks, this study investigates the effects of job level change and role conflict on employees’ perceived organizational support, organizational commitment, and performance. It is found that job level change and role conflict are negatively related to employees’ perceived organizational support. Besides, employees’ perceived organizational support is found to be positively related to their organizational commitment. Suggestions and recommendations are thus discussed.
