  • Abstract This study develops a new stripe coating equipment to investigate the manufacturing method of mosaic color filter. By observing the changing of liquid bead in coating process, we find the width of liquid bead will change with the changing width of channel. This phenomenon decreases the possibilities of overflow and support our idea of stripe coating in mosaic color filter manufacturing. We also investigate the influence of viscosity, flow rate and coating speed and find that with constant coating speed, flow rate will increase with the increase of viscosity.
