  • Abstract The purpose of this research is to use information technology into education, and use Web-based advantage to develop a PDA Learning Passport system for outdoor courses. The objective is that teacher can edit passport examine to match up outdoor courses, and use PDA to manage students use condition, and to go a step further teach. And in students side, I hope to use PDA Learning Passport to provide students study in real situation, and use Problem-based Learning way for students to really observe to complete test in the Passport. And there are learning area in the system and it can give students to upload teacher’s learning material after testing or before testing. And system has a function of rank to give students the front competition. To match up the PDA’s high mobile characteristic, I hope to use PDA Learning Passport system assist to help teachers and students teaching and learning outdoor courses more efficiency. This system has seven model:basic information model、editing model、passport manage model、students manage model、testing model、learning model、statistics model. The experiment in this research is to understand woody plants in school of outdoor courses. And according to the interview of teacher and students, I have obtained some conclusions.
