  • Abstract 生物組織材料常被用來當做體內植入物,其來源可以是牛、馬、豬、或羊等哺乳類動物的心瓣膜、血管、心包膜及肌腱等富含膠原蛋白的組織。這些生物組織材料在植入人體之前,都必須先經過化學交聯劑的修飾。其目的主要是增強生物組織的機械強度,以及抵抗人體內的免疫系統及酵素的攻擊。
    目前以交聯劑化學修飾生物組織的方式可分為兩種:一種是交聯劑直接與生物組織上的自由胺基形成穩固的交聯(crosslinking)鍵結,如glutaraldehyde、epoxy compound與genipin等;另一種則是交聯劑先活化生物組織上的羧基,再與另一自由胺基形成胜
